Amanda Evanoff, LLC
ATR-P (Art Therapy)

Do you need a counselor who can help you cope with your challenges and express yourself through art and nature? Do you want a counselor who has experience working with youth and adults facing various issues related to identity, ADHD, ASD, anxiety, depression, ODD, and more?

My name is Amanda, and I am a licensed counselor and art therapist with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Oakland University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a special concentration in Art Therapy from Wayne State University.

I have worked with youth in the juvenile justice system and foster care, as well as adults with substance abuse, traumatic brain injuries, and housing insecurity. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who want to improve their well-being and happiness through art therapy and nature-based healing.

As a counselor and art therapist, I use a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy, person-centered, and mindfulness-based therapy to help you identify your needs, explore your options, and discover your strengths. I also use art therapy and nature-based healing to help you express yourself, heal your wounds, and grow as a person.

I believe that counseling and art therapy are collaborative and supportive processes, where you and I work together to achieve your goals and potential. My goal is to create a comfortable and safe place for you to feel heard and understood, without any judgment.

"Promise me you’ll always remember: You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think."
